Ready to experience the side of Bali that most tourists don’t get to? Join Jord on this epic adventure through Bali, Nusa Penida, and Nusa Lembongan, where you'll explore some of his favorite photography spots across the islands. With over seven years spent discovering every corner of Bali, Jord will guide you to hidden locations and offer rare opportunities to photograph the rich culture and daily life of the Balinese people. Along the way, you'll dive deep into the art of photography, master editing techniques, and gain insider knowledge on building a successful travel photography business.

DAY 1: WELCOME!
The Itinerary
Welcome to Bali! You'll be picked up by our local driver, Putu, and transferred to our hotel.
Enjoy the swimming pool at the hotel and get settled in whilst we wait for the rest of the group to arrive.
Group welcome dinner to discuss our plans for the week.
DAY 2: UBUD + BEYOND
An early start today as we drive to Tegalalang Rice Terraces for sunrise. Here we'll document the landscape and local life found in this incredible part of the island.
Next stop - Goa Garba, one of my favourite temples in Bali.
In the afternoon, we'll visit the Serayu Pottery Shop for a portrait photography session.
DAY 3: KINTAMANI
Sunrise in Pinggan village, with views over Mount Batur. Hopefully, we will be lucky with the weather, as the low fog here makes the view magical.
After sunrise, we will head to Batur Lake to photograph the agriculture and life on the lake.
In the afternoon, we will check out Pasar Badung, the biggest market in Denpasar.
After dinner, we will have a photo review session to see what we can work on for the rest of the trip.
DAY 4: TAMPAKSIRING
Sunrise in Tampaksiring with misty views over the rice fields and volcano.
We will then photograph a local farmer-turned-coconut tree climber.
After breakfast, we will drive to Sidemen where we will spend the next 3 nights.
Late afternoon sunset shoot in the village of Selat, with views over Mount Agung.
DAY 5: SIDEMEN + SELAT
Today we will be exploring the small villages in and around Sideman and Selat. Think Mt. Agung, light rays, rice fields and local village life. This is the area of Bali that I am most familiar with, and I can't wait to show you around!
We will be spending 3 nights here to maximise our photo opportunities in the area.
Evening editing workshop.
DAY 6: SIDEMEN + SELAT
Our second day in East Bali sees more light rays, rice fields and traditional village life.
In the afternoon, we will drive to Lahangan Sweet ready for sunset. This spot has one of the best views on the whole island.
DAY 7: SELAT + KELINGKING
On our final morning around Sidemen + Selat, we will make sure we have covered all the photography spots in the best light possible.
We will take the boat over to Nusa Penida at lunchtime, check-in and spend the afternoon at Kelingking., one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. First, you'll be able to shoot from the top of the cliff, with the option of hiking down to the beach, too.
DAY 8: SEAWEED FARMERS
In the morning, we will shoot the seaweed farmers in Penida as they go out for the morning harvest. Seaweed farming re-emerged on Penida + Lembongan during the pandemic as many locals lost their jobs in the tourism sector and had to return to their roots.
We will then take a private boat over to Nusa Lembongan, have lunch and shoot the seaweed farmers there, too.
Sunset boat trip back to Penida.
Evening editing workshop.
DAY 9: NUSA PENIDA
On our final morning of the trip, we will enjoy a photowalk
Midday boat back to Bali where we say our farewells.
Our drivers can drop you at the airport or to your next destination if you're continuing your adventures in Bali.

““Great group, great locations, great photos, beautifully organised. 10/10!””
Hey, I’m Jord
I'm a full-time travel and landscape photographer from the UK, and have been based in Bali, Indonesia, for the past 6 years.
During this time, I've racked up tens of thousands of miles on my motorbike in search of the island's best-kept secrets.
Be it the fascinating ceremonies, winding rice terraces, towering volcanoes, or palm-lined beaches, I can't wait to share this journey with you in the place I so fortunately call home.
